Dirt Days Challenge Entry Form

Where: NCAR's Mesa Lab, located at 1850 Table Mesa Drive in Boulder.
When: 19am-2pm Saturday April 19th
Why: For the spirit of adventure and to have fun under the sun

Four Phase Adventure Challenge: Try one challenge or take-on all four

Pack Trot: Patagonia is running the PACK TROT! Participants will be fitted with a backpack with 15% of their body weight inside. The course travels a half mile around the scenic dirt trail between NCAR and the Mesa Trail.

Balance: You will attempt an ever-increasing level of balancing difficulty (from low beam, to slack line to… you'll see) and scored on your overall performance.

Cast: You will cast with a fly rod and be scored on accuracy and distance. Quick preparatory lessons from pros will be running from 10am to 2pm in the Park.

Climb: You will attempt short boulder problems at an ever-increasing level of difficulty and be scored on your overall performance. Demos and lessons from pros, run by the Spot Bouldering Gym, will be taking place in the Park from 10am until 3pm.

Challenge open to all ages. Categories: 8 and under, 9-15, 16-40, 41 and over

Prizes and Film Footage of Dirt Challenges will be presented at the Film Festival the following night at the Boulder Theater during the main night's motion pictures.
